Biography
I am mostly a self-taught artist and I have lived and traveled all over the world, spending nearly seven years in Southeast Asia as a military wife. Having settled in the Dallas, Texas area, I love putting my memories and experiences into my work using paint, plaster, acrylic, ink, paper and metal. In 2013, my family suffered a catastrophic house fire where we lost everything, including many of my original works and my studio. I focused on rebuilding my home and my family for nearly 2 years. After deep reflection and a period of personal growth, I have begun to reestablish my studio and have been creating new and exciting work, including flow paintings and altered mirrors. |
