I am mostly a self-taught artist and I have lived and traveled all over the world, spending nearly seven years in Southeast Asia as a military wife. Having settled in the Dallas, Texas area,I love putting my memories and experiences into my work using paint, plaster, acrylic, ink, paper and metal.
In 2013, my family suffered a catastrophic house fire where we lost everything, including many of my original works and my studio. I focused on rebuilding my home and my family for nearly 2 years. After deep reflection and a period of personal growth, I have begun to reestablish my studio and have been creating new and exciting work, including flow paintings and altered mirrors.
